![]() CTRL+F8 is frame skipping, not the increase of emulation speed. You increade the CPU cycles with CTRL+F12 and descrease them with CTRL+F11. Also you can set the emulation speed in dosbox.conf (it's a configuration file for DosBox in case you don't know, in text format) to the amount you want DosBox to start with each time. It's under the [cpu] part.
