what I do know is that today 40% (give or take 4%) of the edible plants are consumed by domesticated animals.

That's exactly why I eat animals - because I love plants so much. I'm sick of these animals thinking they can get away with wandering around eating all the plants! Do they ever bring plants to me so that I might share? No! They must pay the price for their greed and selfishness! The spirits of the plants are crying out for vengeance! And if animals just happen to be mighty tasty, so much the better.

Just think of how few plants we'd have left if nobody ate the animals!
