just read the whole TT section including the challenge bit what a game this is i have spent so many hours on it

i remember once setting the intrest to maximum 6% if i remember right i had so much money it hit a top figure it didnt go minus but my trains wouldnt make money unless i spent enough to keep it below the top amount and my almost perfect rating went through the floor
it took many mountins being built and demolished @ sea to improve things LOL

i also once played for 28 hours straight just grabbing snacks and drinks now and then my eyes were done in so i had to stop but i still wanted to play i fell asleep thinking of ways to improve traffic flow on a very busy train juction such is the power of this game

for me this is the finest game ever made civ 2 is close for re-play factor but this is king

am now gonna dig out my copy add the patch i just downloaded an knowing me al still be playing tommorow morning :Brain: :Brain: :Brain: :Brain:

EDIT: earlyer someone mentioned station limits on the origional game it was 200 stations as i found on 1 long and (with 8mb ram) slow game

wich reminds me didn,t have a pc for a couple of months went from 4mb ram to 16mb of ram loaded up a saved game i had on disc and sat gobbsmacked as all the trains wizzed by :w00t: amazing anything would run at all i have 1024mb of ram now dam gotta go play see ya :w00t:

well as expected i played for hours and hours didnt go to bed till 7 am the following morning :whistle: couldnt find my disc then i remembered i left it in my ex G/f s lap top DOH!! it hadn,t bin as long as i thought since i had last played k: so i d/loaded abandonia copy imported the registry as it mentions on here (glad i read through all the posts first :bleh: )
At first i had problems with the trains not stopping in the stations untill i reallsed that the mod had changed the use of "non stop" so u can use stations as way points k: it works well stops them getting lost and means u can make trains use your main trunk routes when the game gets more congested later in the game instead of clogging up any smaller side routes as they used to
still love this game how is it so good its rubbish AI silly competitors who seem to have a free buged for moving land countless other stupid bug but it doesnt matter its just awsome and the mod just makes it better

thanks Abandonia for havin this game up your modded d/load is spot on allowing u to play how u want with or without mods (i chose a few mods including longer trains and upped the various vehicle limits) it plays better than the origional glad i couldnt find the disc now

EDIT i just re wrote the last bit of my last post just make it clearer and it got me thinking around 1994/5 i had 4mb ram and went to 16 last year i went from 512 ram to 1024 mb ram so in 11 years i have gone from 4mb to 1024 mb

now excuse me if my maths goes astray but thats 256 times bigger in 11 years if that increase continued a the same rate around the year 2016 i shall upgrade to
716800 mb ram 716.8 gig!!! jats just over 3 1/2 times my current hard drive (sorry about goin a bit geeky with the numbers i just started working it out in my head (realised i needed to make notes) :crazy: and thought ad share the results i want that computer now gues it will still have a bugfest microsoft operating system though :angry: end of

I need a bit of help. A zeppelin crashed on one of my most important airports, how do you clean up the zeppelin accidents? It appears that none of my planes can take off due to the crashed zeppelin in the middle of the landing strip.

I believe you can't... You just have to wait and it will "clean up" by itself.... (I guess that if you played it for a little longer, you might have discouvered that yourself, but just in case someone comes with the same question...)

How do you get a zeppelin? :blink:

It's a random disaster, you can't actually purchase zeppelins for your own use.

well, i have a "little" problem with tt.
i downloaded the deluxe version, i ran the runme registration editing thingie and...it doesnt, run, when i try to start it it says "unable to access transport tycoon deluxe cd! $"
well, there are to "options" in my opinion:
a) sometime ago i had a nasty spyware infection that also *meep*ed up my administrative right, but i think (or better i thought) i repaired all the damage, perhaps not everything is back to normal and windows won´t accept the registration editing? (though, i get the message that it worked when executing the file....)

B) (<--this was not supposed to be a smilie but a ) + a b --> b-) something else doesnt´t work

can somebody help me?
