i liked whorf in ds9. made sesnse to bring him in. they only killed dax because terry farrell wanted to leave. seems a bit dumb to pull out that late though. she hasnt been in much scince.
the domion wars would make a great trilogy movie. i keep getting tempted to do a redit of ds9. trim away the non war plots, try and turn it into a movie kinda thing.

a movie set after ds9.. would be cool if the wormhole aliens turned EVIL and tried to DESTROY earth. chuck in some time travel, ships being overidden by the wormhole aliens via there holodecks, a heroic sacrifice of a crew member. loads of random ensighns getting killed, and gary coleman as data doing the analysis on readings from the evil wormhole aliens vortex of DEATH saving the day when he figures out it can be collapsed with a sub quantam inversion of its chronitonic nuceleas if he overides the deflector array to emit a sub quantam entrionic pulse , and of course set the right interphasic modulation. but of course they will have to shunt in energy from the shields, inertial dampeners, repleicators, toilets, the spotlight that makes the caps head shine so nicely. so the defiant will have to cover them as they do it.
have admiral janeway give them all an award at the end bobs your uncle, or movie.

Grand Nagus:
a greedy old man, who used tricks to see who will be the best person to follow him to the throne (while being very horney) - until he had a change of soul by the wormhole creatures - and got changed back again.

Quarks mother:
OK, she had some personality - but I'd hardly call her Ferengi. She was so untipical of their society... Also it has always bothered me why the Ferengi would have Quark for so importaint - I mean he was nothing more then a bar-keeper at a space station. There were many richer and more importaint Ferengis out there.

Maybe it's just the idea of their race..

The Dominion Wars Trilogy - that might be a good idea.
Part 1 - the shape shifters infiltrate federation. Some planets (like Vulcan) seal themselves off from the rest of the universe and become safe islands of federation - but are cut off from the rest of the galaxy. Most of the federation (including Earth) gets inaded. Only a handful of people make it to safty (probably on one of the planets that has not yet entered a space travel age).
Part 2 - the planet and the poeple have enough resources to create a cloaked ship (maybe the Romulans or Klingons would be there too - as they were attacked as well). They figure out a way to destroy the shape-shifters (the Romulans already had some device for that - while being together with Carthasians) but need some resources to get it. They are on the way to get it - but fail. The federation surrenders.
Part 3 - The federation is completely destroyed. The Dominion took over, but ran into some unexpected problems - for which they'd need the know-how of the federation (to which they don't have an access). A deal has to be made - Dominon leaves most of the planets in the alpha quadrant, but keep a few strategically importaint bases with their forces there. The federation is give a set of ships - so they can fight this new danger/problem and will no longer be under the rule of Dominon (they'd still have to sign some binding agreements with the Dominon).

So in fact the federation was destroyed, but was resurected, because the agressor needed it more then it was thought. But the Earth is no longer the center of the federation. It's one of those planets that were a safe heaven - a planet without humand. So the superior positions the humans had in the federation will be gone.

wouldn't work. They could not present a big enough threat to the Dominion (I guess) and they have been over-done anyway.
That species *random number* might be OK, or it might be something completely different.

Or the Q could interfear (like the superior judge of the universe or something) - them being slightly bias toward the humans.

i do think for a trek movie to work you need one of 3 things
1: shakespear quoting baddy
2: giant earth destroying thingie
3: gary coleman as data!!

What about the blue guys (don't know what's their race)? who are they? they were in number of parts (voyager and TNG) yet we don't know much about them. how they joined the federation, what was the situation on their world before they joined? why did they decide to join?

And what about those denobulans? what happened to them later on? and what happened with the klingons? remember? they dont' like to talk about it.



Scratch the Star trek! What we need is Firefly series continuation!!!!!! and RED DWARF MOVIE!!!!

red dwarf the movie would be awesome. with the original cast. i want to see the american version to see just How Bad It Was first hand.
terry farell played the cat tho so is probably gonna be worth watching for that.
