It seems you are trying to run the game in plain Windows. I strongly suggest you use DosBox instead.
You can download it here.

You might want to check out the official DosBox FAQ, and particularly this part of it. It is quite helpful for users unfamiliar with DosBox.

thats strange, works just fine to me.
use DOSbox to run the game
download it here: http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/dosbox/...er.exe?download
its easy to use it, simple tutorial here http://www.abandonia.com/main.php?nav=setting&FAQ=1

Prince of Persia was the first adventure/Arcade game I ever played, but since the first time I've been bether.
This is one of my top 10 games.. But i'm a yung boy, just 17 so I was just a boy when I played all of the best DOS games! But I remember it very good.. :w00t:

I have downloaded and unzipped Prince of Persia 4D from many different websites, and each time I can unzip the game but when I go to run it, it opens and then closes immediately. I tried downloading DOSbox as many of you have suggested, but I don't know how to use it. Can someone tell me what to do?
