There actually still are a few things worth watching over here (but the ratings are very low) and a lot of $hit (with almost everybody watching it).

So if I have the time I turn the TV on Monday evenings - there's Studio City (a very good weekly overview of the current events) and Brane Ron?el (it's a music show featuring renowend contemorary jazz/blues/ethno musicians from all over the world - in two weeks it's gonna be Joan Baez).

Then there's Wednesdays... the seventh seal - they always select quality movies for it, although mostly unknow. The last "famous" movie they showed was Good Will Hunting, but the selection is very good. They usually have mothly themes (like Iranian movies, or Cinema Guatemala...).

And then on Saturday evenings they always have Saturday evenings with... It's an hour to two hours long session with a renowened Slovenian or a foregin guest relevant for Slovenia. It's almost an ongoing biography in front of the TV.

And every now and again they show theatre masterpeices that were caught on the camera (they take you to a theatre play).

That's all on the first national chanell. The second one usually has sports.

But the comertial chanells are terrible. They just started Big Brother (so for the sake of not running into it by chance I deleted the chanell from TV's memory), and they have a lot of Latino-soap (that's why I was considering deleting it a long time ago and I would have done it too, if it wasn't for the "British trio" from 9-12 in the evening (you get detectives Morse and Frost, followed by a comedy or two - they used to show Fawlty Towers, Allo Allo, Yes Prime Minister, You Rang Milord, Blackadder,...).

Sadly all that is on here is horrifically bad soap opera's and highly censored, propagandist news (the army owns the biggest TV channel) and since the military took over the government in the coup last september the media (newspapers and the other 3 or 4 TV channels)have become highly "regulated."

We do have satellite, but the army blocks access to CNN and the BBC news channels whenever something they think is bad is broadcast. I hate it.

Also, the military government have blocked access to You Tube here for nearly 10 days now.

So basically no TV for me

I remember a video from Fox news where President Shrub ...err... Bush really, really, REALLY mg2: talked pure crap. Not that there was any content, he just had a few snatches that wouldn't fit together.
Something like:"I... err... We have made our position clear. That is we want to... err... in better way the enemy has made their position clear... and... err... then we're able to stop 'em!" LOL

EDIT: Forgot to mention: This video has disappeared... for some reason...

OK, sorry for . Go on.
What's on your TV?

Some of you speak like there are only movies on TV, but what about documentary shows I still find National Geographic, Travel Channel and Discovery Channel worth watching, and I'm pretty sure you can't download their series that easily over the internet, I think TV is underestimated.

I watch Simpson and Family Guy on satellite. :w00t:
I really like CSI because it's really instructive....now I can kill people with no problem...
However I don't like TV too much.
