im running the main setup.exe through dosbox i followed his doxbox tutorial and get that far.. i see the malcomb graphics for the setup and the malcomb style cursor...i go through the sound blaster setup with sound and then i get to the benchmarking files part and it says unable to benchmark files press any key and takes me back to the commander

try just running !start.bat
dont forget to mount the directory (also) as a cdrom drive in dosbox with command "mount d [directory with the game] -t cdrom"

when i try and run malcomb.bat it says setup.cfd or player.ini not found try running setup.exe

i dont think ill ever get to play this game

there is no malcomb.bat :blink:
just try doing what i did. redownload the game, mount the game directory both as hard drive and cdrom drive, run !start.bat

could anyone give me some step by step instructions..i deleted all of the malcomb stuff and plan to start over...do i just put the cd in and try and install the cd in dos box? i tried tha t but it says it cant create c:\westwood\malcomb.... i am never gonna get to play this game
