Argh. Tried to download the HOTU version, but it says ZIP file is corrupted. Is there any way around this? (Or is it, more likely, me being stupid and not working it out?)

No worries, I got it working.
 Feel free to ignore the previous post, but note that on HOTU, only the BitTorrent version actually works. |

i'm new here and this is one of the games i downloaded but i can't play it! Each time i try to install it, it says that it can't open a certain file and then closes.....
Why does it keep doing that?? :confused: |

It just occurred to me that mixing medicine and alcohol is a really stupid, possibly lethal thing to do. If I were a real person instead of a lovably inept cartoon character, with the potential for a few more sequels, I wouldn't even consider it. Skoal! --- Guybrush Threepwood

There is a DOSBox tutorial stickied in the Troubleshooting forum. You might want to read it.
Also, try searching in the Troubleshooting forum for threads about Discworld - it's possible that one of them might have a solution to your problem.

Need A hand with Personal Inventory
Can't seem to put anything into Rincewind's Personal Inventory. Clicking (L/R) simply does nothing. It means I cannot finish certain parts of the game.
I have been using VDMS and Dosbox. thanks |
