Still, I don't get it.

It's by the way not a pure Millenia cd. It's an old CD from a PC magazine and it used to run on my 90 Mhz PC back then. The CD itself is not scratched or something (strange thing, concidering how often I needed to get a new StarCraft CD); but still - it does not work.
The question if I install the game with the right drive letter seems to miss the problem; if this is the issue I would just need to install and run at once. But that's not the case. AND the game does not run from the CD itself.

Somehow DosBox is not convinced that my cd actually IS a cd.

Would anyone by the way have a clue how to properly run it with VDMSound? I keep getting this annoying EMM problem.
