Just a quick question in relation to Lion (excuse my nubbinsry, since it has probably already been answered, and if so I apologise):

I have the CD version of Lion, and have been trying to get it to run on DOSBox, but it complains of the CD needing to be in the CD drive (which it is, I hasten to add). I was hoping to get Lion to run with sound as I've never managed it before... then I read that you could get the full, working version from here from the "ISO Cellar"...?

I was wondering if someone could explain to me what the ISO Cellar is, and also if the full version of Lion with sound is indeed located there?

Sorry for being wordy and possibly repeating stuff that has been answered previously in the thread :S

You must mount your cddrive as D in dosbox:

mount d x:\ -t cdrom

x:\ is your real cddrive letter under windows.

And read this:

I did this but it doesn't seem to be able to find the actual lion EXE on the CD itself - that bit is installed on C, and when that's mounted, of course, the no CD error happens...

Delete what you've done t'll now. Start from scratch.
Install IN dosbox from D on C.

And once again:

All your problems come from a bad virtual C mount, a bad CD mount, a bad install.
That, or you don't have the original CD but a crummy downloaded one.

I have read the guide, but it more applies to stuff downloaded from Abandonia rather than something you have the CD for... running the setup.exe causes it to say that it cannot be installed to C; "The specified path (C:\Lion) cannot be created."

The ISO Cellar is a secret forum to which users gain access after they have been actively participating in discussions for a while.
Your account will first have to be fixed to work correctly, however, and it can't be done right now since the access to the admin controls is buggered to hell.
But yes, there is a full version of Lion in the ISO Cellar.

Do you actually have a C mount configured? I'd guess not...

Begin by telling us what is your operating system and what exactly you have done, step-by-step.

Because I didn't save my pw in word, or write it down, I forgot it....>_< So I couldn't reply. But *Ahem* it works now! It was the folder thing. I just had to move lion out of the folder then delete the folder named "Lion". *Shrugs at stupidity of self* I just now mated and was wondering how you fast forward? I tried clicking on the moon and pressing my spacebar at the same time, which is the way I thought you were supposed to do it, but it won't work. >_>

Nevermind. I figured it out. X(

Oh yeah and if anyone still wants to know, to attack a lion/lioness in your pride, you have to double click on them over and over. You can't kill them though, and you can only attack lions of the same gender. (Ex: if your a lioness you can only attack other female lions. Same with males.)
