We never had Afterlife for download.

Always fancied a go at this one. Released in '96 by ex-ESA member Lucasarts, and a cursory check reveals only a single 'new' copy on sale on Play.com for the rather unrealistic price of £29.99. Should also be playable without an emulator on a modern system, as the demo's readme notes indicate that it was written to run equally happily in DOS or Windows 95 from the ground up. |

Isn't LucasArts still working? Did they abandon Afterlife?
I got this game for free in a magazine back in 1997 in its full version. It's a pretty cool game, but I never understood why it came for free since the magazine was the equivalent of about 5 U.S. dollars.

An advertising stunt is not the same as 'abandoned', they have payed Lucasarts for that stunt, sure thing.
