I use internet explorer has a download engine. what would happen if i switched to firefox?

 That has nothing to do with the problem. If the game archive ended up on your hard drive and you were able to unpack its contents, then you just downloaded the game. None of the archives on Abandonia contain any sort of downloader utility. What you get in the archive is the game itself. Therefore, your problem doesn't have anything to do with downloading the games, but RUNNING them. And for that... read my previous post.

i don't need DOS box. Explain this to me, Why was i able to download Burntime when i first went to this website, and i can't now? I downloaded DOSbox but nothing has changed since i did it. i still can't download any games from here.
Also i have tryed to donwload the game Power Dolls. I got a ZIP and its title says this: Power%20Dolls do this mean somthing is missing? cause i have noticed that every ZIP file i get like that always ends up with the error "parameter incorrect" Last edited by jake4426; 12-02-2009 at 11:35 PM. |

I just downloaded and extracted "Burntime" myself. No errors there.
Look, do like this: go to the Burntime-page. Click "download this game" and then "get it" on the next screen. The you should get a prompt where you can save the file. SAVE it, not run it. Then use WinRaR or 7zip to extract the file. After that you use DOSBOX to run it. See the guide posted above. This is the way to do it.

OMG. i went there and i went to sercurity. it turns out my security was set to high so i couldn't download stuff. now everyuthign works
