10:29 of sheer, kickass originality, oh yeah! EDIT: Opeth - The Lotus Eater. 8:49 of sheer, kickass originality, oh yeah! Seriously though. There's no definite genre that defines Opeth. Let me try to describe: The Lotus Eater starts off with the singer humming a beautiful melody, then he starts growling, then comes clean vocals, then back to growling, etc. The music is melodic through the whole thing. And there's even this funky part. Most original music I've heard, by far. And the most ultimate (to me, that is).
