Your syntax could be a little iffy. Try dragging-and-dropping the main .bat file directly onto a DOSbox shortcut.
Also, perhaps your clockspeed settings in DOSbox are wrong? It can be a number of factors. If nothing works, try the VOGONS forum or the tutorial on www.DOSbox.com  EDIT: oh, sorry
