Clicking on Robins face brings up a status menu, pressing F1 on this screen will save the game, and quit. When you start the game again it will be from that spot.
I can not find a way to save the game and to keep on playing, so this is the best you can do I think. The joys of old games.  |

 You've helped me out!  I tried to click on the save icon in the status menu and press F1 while I played the game without any success, but I didn't think I should press the F1 in the menu!  What a lame I'm!  |
