![]() That's awesome! If only I had one of these... would have saved many joysticks that were victims to "summer games"
Great stuff, finally a joystick you can be mean to when you loose |

there are some commercial ones like x-arcade or the hotrode se, but theyre pretty expensive. there are a few people who do build them to order, or premade ones on ebay etc. there are a lot of homebuilt ones that are slicker than mine! tons of tips and ideas and examples here for anyone thinking about making one; http://www.arcadecontrols.com/arcade.htm www.ultimarc.com sells all the joysticks and buttons at a good price, as well as special adaptors in case you dont want to hack an old joypad or keyboard (the hardest bit). |

![]() Hmmm, I'm trying to decide if that would be more fun than just using my Playstation controller for my SNES games. Probably not, except for playing Street Fighter 2, which I don't really play that much. 'Twould be fairly useless for Seiken Densetsu games.
Great job though, I always respect people who go to that kind of effort. |

for the playstation emulator i have a p.c gamepad thats a copy of the original playstation controller. some things cant be improved! i think trying to play playstation games on my arcade controller would bring me to tears LOL. i always liked the snes controller, but i think if you wanted to play street fighter in MAME then the arcade controller would be better, once you got used to it. im not sure how the snes version of street fighter uses the buttons, so it might not translate too well to the arcade controls.. although i do remember some arcade controllers they made for the snes. |
