I had the same thing. In belgium we eat raw meat. It tastes great but when visitors from the US saw it they couldn't believe it. They refused to eat it at first saying that it must be rife with disease. But once they did they couldn't eat enough of it.

As for fast food, like much more Burger King then MC, but last time I visited it was 2-3 years ago. I rather go for Chinese food (kung pow chicken and orange chicken) or subway. (at least a bit healthier) (McDonalds here have nutrition facts.) |

![]() I work at a Subway restaurant. We have pretty high standards. We take temperature 3 times a day, we have to clean our hands after each customer (even though we use gloves. And the soap is so strong, it gives me rashes). People from the Health department come all the time, to see how things are.
We have to make sure that everything is fresh, and the breads... they have to look PERFECT. We have to measure the vegetables, to know how much to put on every sub. We don't do it every time, but we practice in the kitchen, so we know how much lettuce to put on etc. Now next week, I think, the boss over all the bosses is coming, and running tests on us. Speed, how much vegetables we put, etc. And every now and then, they send spies to us, during busy hours, to see how we are doing. If we don't smile, we get a minus point. I accidentally put TWO napkins with a 6" sub, instead of one, that gave us a minus point. The restaurant i work at is located in a business area, lots of fancy companies and stuff around. And people wearing suit every day (ukk, i could NEVER do that... ) come there, with special needs and a broomstick up their a**es. And if someone makes a TINY little error, they call my boss. Well, I'm just expressing myself after a crappy shift... |

but when a ceo of a company making 500,000 a year makes stupid decisions, and the company loses a fortune, he just gets a bunch more money and share options. |

![]() Puffin, I would've quit that damn job a long time ago. Get yourself one where you aren't forced to work at gunpoint.

![]() HEY!! My grandma lives at a nursing home! When you insult nursing home patients you insult her! LOL You are forgiven. Puffin, quit that job and get one with less crap in it. Walk up to your boss, shout cuss words in his face, kick him in the particulars for no reason, and so on. You'll have to get a new job in no time.

[/b][/quote] I don't know what's the job selection there in your country, but this one sounds like a loads of muck. The posts above me said that already, but I'll repeat it - I would quit there at once, that is, if you don't exactly love that job. |

![]() Well, I NEED to work with school. And it's not easy getting a job right now, especially because I have no degrees or rights yet. But I always have my eyes open for new stuff.
