I know I need to do something with the fountain of health, but I can't remember what it is.

It's on level 13, but you need to get to it from level 10.
Look for a secret door. You may need the See Reality spell to find it.
Fiddle with the switches until you open two more secret doors.
Fight.
Loot.
That's it.

It comes with magic level three But you need to find the right rune stones to activate the spell, they are located further down in the Crypt

I´m deseased, too. Haven´t found out how to cure it yet, though there is a secret door (in the southernmost room) leading to a fountain of special health or something. Can´t figure out how to drink from it. Anyone knows?

In case of doubt I guess you don´t really need to do this level, because it´s all just for you to get the fire-resistant boots. You can walk over the lava fast and use tons of healing spells on the other level. Still want to know how to get cured, though.

And where is that damn statue from the undead maze?!?!

Btw: thanks to you all for getting me this far. Without the help of you guys I´d have had to surrender a long time ago.

Some thoughts on the cure:
What sense does that "no weapons beyond the red line"-sign have? And why can you put weight on the pressure plates, it even says that a secret door was opened but actually you can´t see anything on the map. :blink:

thats great except i have all the ruin stones and have access to level 22 even so how do i use them to increase spell level? nothing changes

have you reached magic level 6 yet? it seems that when you advance levels you gain access to more spells. if you are not at level 6 spells yet try casting spells (even if you don't need them) just for the experience.

i think i was able to get cured by "using" fountain behind the secret door on that level. it seems odd but it works.

still stuck on level 22. i've tried every combo on the wooden switches and poles i can think of but not getting anywhere. time to put the game down for a bit, i think...

The thing about an adventurer knowing the password means that if you explore the entire map, the plates you need to weigh down will be revealed.

There's something about this level..When I find those 2 teleporters one of them is taking me to a secret room,and then to another and so on,but at the end I'm stuck in the room on the left side of the screen with a secret door.I know it is opened when you stand in the corner of the room,but whenever I move from there, door gets closed again.What should I do?
