![]() Ok for ANY game i play in full screen it seems to cut off some of the left side of the screen *so for example ill see half a word* and while i can see the right side of the screen ok theres a black gap next to it *about the same size as what is cut off on the left* so it seems it could be solved by nudging it to the right a bit. This makes games unplayable fullscreen someone suggested changing resolution to 800x600 which did nothing and fullfixed something which when changed did nothing either. Anyone know how to solve this?

![]() I have the same thing - just recentring the position on your monitor works, but I do have to do it each time, which is annoying. Is it a TFT monitor?

![]() Dont have a clue what type of monitor mine is LOL its a flatscreen one but didnt think that made any difference, i did try the 800x600 but didnt change it is there no permenant way to fix this i dont want to readjust my monitor every time i want to play a game
actually it might just be ok recentering have a lil black gap on each side but not much and can see the fullscreen plus i dont have to readjust it each time its normal on windowed and readjusts it self in fullscreen once i did it once. |

![]() Set the resolution in dosbox.config to the same resolution you have on your monitor.

![]() I had the same problem with a flatscreen monitor, but setting fullfixed=true in the dosbox config file did the trick - the problem arises when it tries to resize the display. you can fix the resolution in there too (lowering it from 1024x768 is sensible since the games will be running 640x480 or 800x600 at best)

![]() That's fine, but it means the game displaying at 640x480 takes up only the middle portion of the screen and the rest is black, which is why I told it to go lower than the max my monitor can handle in order to make the game bigger.
