If I can throw in my two cents....I think this is just a misunderstanding. BP's 'entry' was meant as a joke, and it was pretty funny. No harm done.

I understand that BP probably meant to make a joke with it, but I think such a kind of joke is not funny or appropriate here, and fully agree with Horseman there. Making fun with historical artwork for a flat joke, instead of trying to create something beautiful or at least trying to, on his own, is anything other than good.

If I would feel "metaphisical" today, I could say that the joke itself can be considered a portrait of BP
However that's just a joke and I hope no one is taking it too seriously.

To "some of you", get a grip, please. It was a joke and stop taking everything so goddamn seriously. What's the big deal of involving Mona Lisa in a joke? Nothing. Nothing whatsoever! It's not like it's a religious symbol or anything. It's not sacred, it's a good painting yes, but it is not sacred. Ok, so it's not someone's idea of what's funny, but then again, no joke is funny to everyone. EOD.

BTW: Maybe this should be a split topic. This discussion could continue, but not in this topic.
