We have lots of good cakes and bread....

One of my favourite, "laufabrau?" (leaf-bread). We eat it on christmas. It's fried, so it's chrispy!! And with butter... mmmmm *sigh*



Some people even use it for decorations :blink:

Here is something traditional to my country it's called banitsa(it lookks much better in real)

This banitsa seems pretty similar for me to some Russian pastry. Does it have kind of jam in it?
About the laufabrau?, I first thought it would be kind of table-cover.
And it looks pretty intriguing, I wonder how it would taste...

Hmm, i know baklava, me and sebatianos love it - just don't eat it too much, otherwise bears will attack you :bleh:

A Pot Luck Supper with members of abandonia would be so much fun. This is such a diverse group of people everyone would bring something new to another. All the food talk made me think of this...

mmmm I just love that cake...
Over here its called shtroodla and and I excpecially love this sort, its called muckownyucha

I also like bucklava and I expecialy like potato pie here called crompeeroosha, and heres the picture, but it doesnt really look like that(expecialy not with the salmon on top LOL) but it was the best picture that I could find..
