I have updloaded the Unit Attribute Guide for the game. It is now available in the Extras. Thanks to Omuletzu for the scans k:

Love the game, but when I try to save, it says it will not save if the cd is not installed. Can anyone help?

I am having the same problem here. I am running the game on a Win98SE machine at the dosprompt. Dosbox is only for WinNT right?

That did the trick for me

I'm using D-Fend Reloaded which has an embedded version of DOSBox, which you can then configure via D-Fend's UI. What I did:

• Unzipped the Hammer of the Gods archive
• Dropped the extracted folder into D-Fend's VirtualHD folder
• Got D-Fend to scan for new games and add Hammer of the Gods to its list
• Edited the resulting Hammer of the Gods entry so that it mounts the VirtualHD folder as the D: drive
• Edited Hammer.bat and substituted D: for every occurrence of T:

Complicated somewhat, but works. It might possibly also work as long as the mounted drive's letter matches the drive letter in Hammer.bat, but now that I've got it going I don't want to mess with it.

Hello! I´m a spanish user.
In the technical notes you said that the executable to use is "hammer.bat". Well... it doesn't work! It still asks for the cd. WHY??
I have an old computer with Windows 98 SE, pehaps i must install DOSBox either?

I love this game!
Can anyone recommend me similar games I could download?

or otherwise other cool games where you explore the map which is all squares (I like that type of interface!)

Machiavelli, the merchant prince got the same interface and the exploration. The difference is that u are a venetian merchant and no a viking invader k:

If you ask something in the forum, you can at least come back to check for the answer. So there's no need to for the e-mail address.

If you are having problems which i did over the course of a year; but then again i downloaded from homeoftheunderdogs.net, you might need univbe and vesa drivers as is said on the site, but of course you have to have ati-or compatible video card.What is dosbox btw? i have a 'puter that is crap and it will not load hammer of the gods but this one im on will.
