i don't like the idea. especialy as i'm still at secondry school and well i have been bullied before.
trust me it's not nice.

this is a game that will start things in school.
i've seen chavs grow up to get jailed for assaulting police.

these are the people that play such games so if "bully" comes out it will cause more bullying an worse bulying

so i say

*meep* YOU ROCKSTAR!!!

And I guess "Half-Life" is the kind of game that makes people run around and bashing other people's heads in with a crowbar...

I for one can't wait to virtually kick virtual wimps in the virtual stomach
One of the screenshots on the official site also show the character ready to throw a big red ball...
Yaaaay! Dodgeball!

Of course, another radicalized reaction to a game about bullying can be exactly the opposite.
Kids learning how to deal with it, bully's learning the effects, people getting more aware of what and how.
In the end, it could actually be a positive thing :P

Not that this is any more the case, though

Oh, and if we're getting there where experience in these things matters. I've been bullied quite a bit, myself.

sorry I know that this is but i just want chuck to know that half-life inspires people to defend themselves against evil zombies and aliens that are already killing others

but counter-strike i suppose is a different story. with all this be a terrorist, take hostages, set bombs, kill the police!

half life would never cause an uproar hear its seen as a nerdy game! and apparantly nerds can't do anything but maths, science, and games

And with math, science and games they get so much money they can pay east-european homosexuals to give retribution to the bullies of their childhoods

@ knails: A little hint - most people are not really influenced by games at all. Those that already have lost one or more marbles may be getting some more weird ideas, but nobody in their right mind will start beating up soldiers with a crowbar (because yes, you DO fight against those in this game as well) because of Half-Life, become a terrorist because of CS, become a car-jacking, homicidal maniac because of GTA or a "bully" because of this game. Only the youngest of kids would actually be in danger to adopt some of the behaviours seen in games, but it's their f*ckin' parents' duty to have an eye on what their kids do anyway, it's not the GAMES INDUSTRY'S job. There's a reason for "ratings", and if parents don't care about them, it's their and nobody else's fault.
