Default D6 Series

West End Games, now extinct, had made a easy to use and totally customizable series of Role Playing Games called the D6 System.
In 2008, West End Games closed its doors forever.
In 2009, Eric Gibson of West End Games decided to release the D6 System books as FREE to download PDF files for anyone who wants them.
At the beginning of 2010, the West End Games website went down permenantly.

For any who are interested, here is where you can get them, totally LEGAL and FREE.

There are 3 Core Rule Books, each its own seperate game that does NOT need the other two.
D6 Fantasy, D6 Adventure, D6 Space.
All the other books are supplements to add more flavor, depth, and tools to make anything you can imagine.
The D6 Magic book is very helpful for both players and game masters who are using D6 Fantasy and/or D6 Adventure.
Keep in mind that these are PDF files, so you need something to open PDF files like Adobe Reader.

I really enjoy the system, and I believe it is far superior to Dungeons and Dragons, and its clones.
Almost limitless customization of characters, magic, starships, whatever you can imagine, you can create with ease. Very little bookkeeping which allows everyone to focus on the game instead of on the numbers that have been written on paper, and you only need 1 type of die, the six sided die that the system is named after.

If you enjoy playing pen and paper role playing games with your friends and/or relatives, I do hope you give this system a shot.

If you have never played a pen and paper role playing game before because it looks intimidating, or requires you to memorize the entire book before you can play, then this is also the game for you. Very little memorizing required, and written for beginners and intermediate players to quickly learn and begin playing.

If you do find this game system enjoyable, spread the word so that this title will not disappear into obscurity, even if it never goes beyond your kitchen table.
