Remember the fun we all had playing Ultima? Reguardless which Ultima game in the series you are a fan of, I think we all played it for a few simple reasons. It has a great magic system and lots of areas to explore and things to do. You could keep busy for hours. I find that most games published of late do not offer nearly as much oldschool fun as most of us would like. I stumbled upon this game about a month ago, and it's become the best coffee break game i've played in years. I just wanted to share a screen for any who might be interested. The game is cheap, and I believe its worth far exceedes the extreamly low price they are asking. Supporting your indepenent game developers!

Oh, BTW, in new to the forums.... Just wanted to say HI. :-)

Hi and welcome to Abandonia.

Screenshot looks good once I found it on the huge image you posted.

(Just a hint: resize your pictures before you post them - or in this case try to post a screenshot of just the game rather than your whole desktop. It doesn't bother me but you don't want the people with 56k connections to start compaining about the time it takes to display! :bleh: )

Anyway, enjoy yourself here. It's a great site and hopefully we'll see you around here quite a bit!

No, it's on the PC and the Mac. You can find it, along with a variety of other, similar titles, here. I find it a bit boring: nice strategic choices, interesting premise, but hardly any dialog, no dialog trees, and people spill their guts and give you quests despite your being a nobody that just wandered in. Some games of all periods don't do this; others do. It's a matter of preference, I guess.

But they are very well done games.
