having a little get together with 3 others and we are going to play a doom 2 marathon 4 way coop style. Also, there will be a main attraction:
THE LAUNCHING FO THE COMPUTER CASE!!!! Yes, you read it right. I am going to launch a computer case using all the leftover model rocket engines i have. Will make sure to post the movie when i have it complete. This is going to be a form of punishment to it as it was always giving the BS of D to me at the worst moments. may it rest in a fiery hole. Just in case it shouldn't work, the alternative is a burning at the stakemethod which we will have on standby.  k: |

news update:
Checked the old box of rocket stuff, came out with 8+ engines ranging from A-C in size. Also found the means to attach them to the case. All things pointing to a good takeoff. |

Actually, it's the wrong title of the thread, seeing that it has more to do with blowing the computer case into space...

update:
LAN party set for next Tuesday. Change of plans, now launching motherboard as the case is old and even stripped to the minimum weighs around 30 punds. (doh) so we will toast the case on a pile of wood. Hope to have movie edited and ready for preview by next Saturday. Tom, will hopefully have time to contact either you or Kosta about a question i am having. Will keep you updated! |

final update:
Party went well with a couple hourse of doom II followed by a legnthy marathon of quake II. (better graphics) sadly the rockets didn't go off. Apparently they have an experation date and had gone bad. Didn't even go off in the burning barrel...anyway, here's hoping Doom II lAN party 2 goes better. Sorry folks, the footage came out bad and isn't worth seeing. |

eh....hehe.....um, no
the thing is, the case is a smoldering piece of rubble on the stone wall. After the rockets didn't go...we kinda thought we'd see if a case would burn and one thing lead to another and it ended up in the burning barrel. so, yeah, its not goin anywhere but the dump as scrapmetal |

yeah we did, the fumes made us all dizzy LOL, but it was worth it.
WARNING TO COMPUTER USERS!!!! Cases can and will catch fire when thrown into a barrel of flames, LOL |
