![]() I am operating on a Windows XP SP2 system and I haven't tried to play any of the DOS games that I played on my Windows ME yet. I just downloaded Kings Quest 6 from this website, made a file titled "My Games" in My Documents and extracted all the files but keep getting a message that the path is not known when the files are done extracting. It gives me this message when I try to double clikc on any of the EXE files. Can anyone help me with this? Do I need to download the game into a different file?? Anyone who can help me with this please email me...
MIZGEMINISTARZ@SBCGLOBAL.NET Greatly appreciated!! Thanks so much, Jennifer |

![]() Try unziping the game files in a solid directory without spaces or ~1 in them. Some old DOS games can need to have strict DOS directory to work.

![]() If you want to be on the safe side, install(extract) to c:\SIERRA\KQ6
That's the default directory that the game used to install the files in, from the original floppies/cd |
