In the current version of Emule the program displays to me a maximum of 30 files when I run the search. An earlier version I had before displayed 150, and having only 30 files show up is really annoying. :angry:

I've been searching through the settings and stuff, but I can't seem to be able to find an option responsible... is this limit a derivative of some other setting? If not, how to change it?

On a second note it looks even weirder. When searching through KAD network, I get hundreds of results, and when through Global servers search, I end up with a max of 30. Sometimes it even gives no results at all.

I'm not certain if this could have any influence on your problem, but I think eMule works on credit system, meaning that you have better chance of downloading needed file if you shared files with other users (infact, if they downloaded file you shared).

yes in the settings you have to change the founts to no limits , for you can had more to use to download.

little_fish, I don't understand what you meant. Please re-phrase.

Max sources/file: 300
Max connections: 100
Max new connections/5 secs: 50
Max half open connections: 100

I didn't set these high, since the machine I am running on here is a bit.. unruly. (honestly, I often have a strong desire to trow the junk out of a window)
