I played this game when I was about 10 years old on my Amiga, at night, in the dark, while the rest of my family was watching a movie downstairs.

It scared the living crap out of me.
The repetitive soundtrack, cheesy sound effects, and monsters breaking through walls, all worked together with my malleable mind to have me whipping my head around peering into the dark hallways of my room, the nearby closet every time anything creaked, and I lived in a creaky house.

Looking back, it's a joke of a game.
But my god I was scared then. If I remember correctly, my parents had even forbid me from playing it, so there was that fear too.

Heh.

This is game is just pure average, there are lot of (similar)other games that are just better. You better play Castlevania if you want something with the similar theme or Prince of Persia 1&2 if you want something with similar mechanics.

Any ideas on how to pass this toad-like statue with snake's tongue behind the third door of the first level?

O my...!
First level was easy...
Second level was boring...
Every level past No.2 was just frustrating! You die instantly in level 5 and
6 if you donnot jump right after the start!

This game gets alot harder as the levels go on. Gotta do alot of back tracking. Type immortal in the password screen. That way you can't die

This game becomes frustratingly hard after level 2. Despite the bad handling, it often requires exactly timed and precise jumps and it regularly happens that you have to react very quickly or can never do a required action (e.g. collecting a skull) again. There even are some annoying glitches, e.g. you could use a door key in the wrong place (even on doors that have already been used) and won't be able to complete the level.

Using the IMMORTAL cheat makes the game pointless, of course, but the BOGEY EATER cheat grants you unlimited lives while still being vulnerable. With only 5 lives in total, I'd say this game is impossible to complete. There are so many situations that are just plain unfair, e.g. at the beginning of level 5, you have to press the UP key before the scene appears or you'll die immediately.

Gott in Himmel?!
This game's _real_?!

When I was taking exams, one of my mates used to tell me about this ("yeah, and on level 320, you get to see a pair of boobs! hur hur hur") and I thought he was taking the piss...

I can still remember his parents' house-phone number.
I may call them up to say sorry for getting into punch-ups about a computer game with their son...
