I believe that would be St. Patrick's day? LOL

Anyways, Happy Halloween all!

St. Patrick, St. Martin (that one's coming up on the 11th of November - the patron of wine - it's a drinking holyday), St. Nick's (6th of December), Cinco de Mayo (it's becoming more and more popular world wide as well), Shrovetide (the Carnival), 1st of May, New Year's Eve, April Fool's, Oktober beer fest,... people just want to have an excuse to have fun!

I'd say it's pretty Americanized, with all the candy and pumpkins and hollywood movies advertising it, I mean it might have it's root in some old tradition but it's Americanized...

I like Halloween!
But I'm used to it being "Americanized" because I live in America

Anyway, we made this holiday (and many others) our own, but I still have fun :w00t:

Why not steal the candy the kids already have when they come to your house?

Damn kids. There were like 20 of them in front of the house yelling 'Halloween'. It's even a cheap rip-off from the original 'Trick or treat'. They're not dressed up or anything THey just kept on yelling and I finally threw six mandarins in their face and got the hell out of there... Brrr... I feel violated

Damn Konsumterror

Kids aren't even allowed on college grounds unless somebody signs them in at the lodge. Aren't I lucky?
