That tends to make sense.

Also, you can visit my site in my signature for many of the offerings, which is public. However, it was my hope that this ISO forum would be updated more often and be larger than what I can do myself with a few ragtag contributers. Already there's stuff here that doesn't appear there. And vice versa (because it currently complys with HOTU's standards, which are a bit different).

Ok Hi all and thanks for the opportunity
First i would like to express that i am partially against the famous 100 post rule to be able to see what is in the iso forum. I have some arguments though i understand why it was set up in this way (the downloaders with 0 post which i would do if there wasnot this restriction

). Notwithstanding as i am coming from linux background i get used to read and read and not to write and write (i just found a nice thread with 2 posts where someone ask about how to start a dos game as he is used to mac and later responded to him/her self that he allready found it out) somehow i feel that this requirement does encourage people to produce posts just for producing them. Other than that i do think that knowing what is actually in that subforum might encurage you helping harder to be able to download from it. In the way it is set up that you can only have acces with 100 posts (or being vip) makes it to be seem as some secret (the same feeling i have about vip section) that i just cannot understand. Would not that be better letting people know why they sould help (not to say work) hard. What you get if you do this or that and not just letting them long for being vip or having 100 posts.
Finally i feel sorry for myself

as it took me almost 2 years to get 100 posts on the forum of the linux i use, i cannot imagine how long will it take for me to earn up 100 posts of gaming.

Anyway thanks for the possibility and for the great site you have and i do mean it it is a really nice and usefull (better to say funfull) site
hope one day will have those 100 post though i suppose that by that time will also have downloaded the mayority of the isos you might have there (search and read not even to mention google)
(Actually i came across that abandonia had the iso section as i was browsing the isoart site)
And now i am going to see who can i help with their problems etc to make those 100 posts

this is just a small edit (even htough i could have earned 1 post credit writing it to a new post I just would like to add) that you somehow punish those here for example in Ecuador whom are still in dial up ss this makes posting more difficult.

Here in Poland there are quite a few dial-up users too.

Try being active in discussions and help out others - you'll earn your 100 posts sooner then you expect (about a month or so)

Hmm 100 posts is a bit problematic to achieve, good thing is you can't get to 100 posts by spamming. However if you don't feel like posting you can always try to contribute to the site by means of reviews or uploading games, that'll get you the VIP status with which you can download ISO's.

The 100+ Post count is REALLY hard when you're ALREADY contributing to the ISO ART site and start looking up here to see how such a forum would look like.

I'm basicly a full nutcase extracted from the HotU Forum.
I hardly use any other username then the one I'm using right now.
Makes looking up regestering and andall that a bit easier.

This is so much a fresh acount that I still have to set my preferences and all that. e.g. avatar and signature

Anyway....

Kosta has recently informed me that's he lowered the restriction to 20 posts. I'm still trying to decide if that's going to work out... but at least it's a lot better.

Few of the contributions to the listing have come from here... and that's my main issue with the restriction.

Still requires a certain amount of posting.

TFX just backfired on me. So I'll be uploading that one on a later date.
Folder is still there though, but the connection blocked halfway.

And since it's late where I'm at ll remaining fles have to wait till somewhere after the weekend.
Don't know wich date though.
maybe monday maybe wednesday. probably the last one.
