I was under the impression that DosBox didn't work on Win98! I shall remember that!  Now I come to think of it - I don't even know where I got that idea from! :crazy: :crazy: :crazy: :crazy: |

Open your config.sys file for editing (notepad is fine; file is in C drive, root directory (top directory). Look if there is a line similar to this: DEVICE=EMM386.EXE NOEMS and change it to DEVICE=EMM386.EXE RAM Reboot computer and try game again. |

i came back to share my Fix in case somebody eLse runs into the same probLem. In my search for an answer i was made aware that Laptops, & in particuLar, deLL Laptops have (as one tek put it) an "eviL memory gremLin". Adding the foLLowing Line to my Config.sys FiLe has (so far) banished my gremLin: DEVICE=C:\EMM386.EXE 1024 FRAME=D000 I reaLLy appreciate the great responses i received here ... :tnx: p.s. fun smiLies!!! |
