It's not freeware as such but it is available for free from Bethesda.

The end-user license still applies so technically it cannot be redistributed.

Daggerfall aint that good. Bethesda is currently making the Elder Scroll 4, can't wait ^^

Except in the case of Daggerfall, unfortunately.

The game is not available for purchase anywhere, but Bethesda doesn't like it being offered for free download and has asked it to be removed from several sites.

Yea, in the case of used games the developer doesn't see a dime of course, as the game has already been purchased once.
