Actually, looking above, does anyone know if the protection is gone and if it is off the market? Thus making it available to be posted?

Default Ceasar 2 Help

Would thoroughly enjoy having this game join the unprotected ranks.

I still have the original game, the manual and a scanner. I can also post a link to a tutorial and other stuff for the game, Once I create it. I can also, post the solutions for this game with integers for placing buildings and developing your roman cities.

I am not much on battle stratagies though.

Hope I can help out with this game? It was my favorite city builder, at the time and should score pretty high marks, with a lot of the Abandonians.

EDIT: Sorry to be so ignorant of how this all works, but I actually have great skills with making contacts. Found this website last month, that shows the status of all sorts of filed copyrights. Was doing it for some radio stations and music copyright permissions, but wouldn't this work with finding games also? I know alot about copyright law, not all, but at least the general stuff and the internet.

Sierra games:

Always thought of Sierra, as user friendly, game developers. I can assure you, all their games will still play under WinXP, even the old ones. I came to depend on Sierra's games and have quite a few of them.

ok... in vista i get the message "cant run this in full screen" when running normal, and in other cases (dosbox) I can't fight battles, slightly annoying. suggestions?

Default broken file

It's great that this game is back up. The download here on abandonia is incomplete though, it is missing a lot of files. Judging by comments earlier in the thread, this was a problem when the game was first offered up for download too. Would be nice if someone could upload a proper release to replace this one.

Also, the sound seems to be rather dead.

Just Dl'ed the game from here and will play around with it a bit. As I said before, I still have the CD for Ce2 and to be quite honest, haven't actually attempted an install on WIN XP, or Vista, since I also have Ceasar 3, which does play well on XP.

I have several PC's I can test it out on from a flash drive. Win2000ME Pro, XP, Vista. Might take some time.
