Oh come on, from what you've typed about enormous towers collapsing you're basically saying the only way for them to fall is straight in on itself, in a vertical fashion. That would only be correct if they would have been symmetrically blown. Since an airplane impact is hardly symmetrical, the case for those impacts being responsible for the perfect vertical collapses of the two towers is ridiculous. And WTC 7 collapsed too but it wasn't even hit by an airplane! The Millennium Hilton that was nearer to the crashes did catch fire but it never collapsed.

What were those fighters supposed to do about those hijacked airliners? Duh, shoot them down of course. They had had warnings that terrorists would probably use hijacked planes as missiles against targets like the WTC etc. NORAD had been practicising just such an event in the two years prior to 9/11.

I will explain why they would shoot those airliners, full of passengers down. Knowing they would use the airliners as missiles, they could regard those poor passengers as dead already. So the least they could do to limit the damage would be to shoot those airliners down.

To limit this post's size, following are some former government officials who also dispute the official "9/11" story. Remember: we don't have to conclusively proof, we just have serious doubts about the official story that can be backed up. What we demand is a new investigation.

>>A former Bush team member during his first administration is now voicing serious doubts about the collapse of the World Trade Center on 9-11.>>

If that was their goal, wouldn't a regular hijacking have sufficed?
Terrorists hijack plane and demand money, government solves it, nobody dies, the hijackers get arrested, Bush is the hero of the day.
Stroggy, an ordinary hijacking would not have created the public outrage/feelings of helplessness. For Bush to assume his role of savior, only an attack on the nation would have sufficed.

Pretty much like the destruction of the USS Maine in Havana port (leading to the American-Spanish War and Spain losing the Philippines and Cuba) and the attack on Pearl Harbor (resulting in the participation of America in WW II).

For any war, be it a War on Spain, War on the Axis, or War on Terror, you need an attack on the nation to get the public behind you. It also gives the government the ability to limit free speech and personal freedoms in general.

So it would not just be to divert attention away from fraudulent elections, as Prejudicesucks says, but something much bigger, such as the War on Terror.

Will you people stop whining about Bush limiting freedom of speech, I mean last time I checked groups opposing Bush have never been this active, anti-bush bloggers are blogging as much as they can, the very documentaries propagating these conspiracy theories are produced in the US, Michael Moore is churning out books and movies, and lets just wait and see what'll happen on the 4th of July.

Bush is the Greatest!

I wish we had a Patriot Act here in Holland.

We have too much personal liberties!

Wish my library would report what books I read.

Wish they could detain me without questioning or charging of any crime.

Wish the FBI would pay me a visit everytime I denounce my Leader.

How obvious, I demonstrate that Bush is not limiting freedom of speech and how do you rebuttle?
om'g seems to think I'm bashing Moore (all i said is that he is chruning out books and movies, but maybe that is offending to YOUR almighty leader and bringer of Truth whose motives and words are unquestionable) and ask why they're dissing Bush and goes on to proove my point that Moore, an american, is the prime conspiracy theorist in the US (thanks for that, couldn't have said it better, you just proved the US does have freedom of speach, love ya!)

And Microprose Veteran goes on to crank out some random sentances, why don't you try to reply with a straight answer, man?
Tell me, is Moore an american, is he living in the US, is he in Guantanamo Bay now or facing a tribunal for high treason? Are all those democrats who oppose Bush and call him a liar americans, are they living in the US, do they continue to out their opposition?

I believe this turned into a discussion about conspiracy theories and conspiracy theorists, who style themselves as the modern day Marius standing on the barricades.

if moore was to die or be put in prison then people would suspect a lot so he will be left alone for now. often you back bush stroggy and i sometimes think you just do it to be different to evryone else, and as an intelectual exercise, as it is far easier to find reosens to fear the man than it is to back him up. a guy who i lived next door to for 14 years of my life is in iraq right now. this is one of the reosens i hate the man bush (and his little glove puppet blair) guantanamo bay is another reosen i hate bush and his administration. blatant disregard for kyoto is another reosen i hate bush. and a lot of americans are very worried about the implications of the patriot act. also what they did to afghanistan as retalition for sept 11th is DISGUSTING. how many people have to be killed before the world wakes up?
