I haven't tried the game myself although if it says its compatiable with XP I am pretty sure it will work correctly. If it doesn't just post here and we will try our best to help you out.

1. You don't know a single word of English.

The game manual clearly states that MDK is short for Mission: Deliver Kindness, if anyone has bothered to read it.

Instead, we get douchebags claiming that it stands for a quote from the demolition man, which would've been really cheesy.

And that's that.

Just wanted to add mt 2 cents. I read an article (not sure what mag but i'm not making this up) when MDK 2 came out where one of the developers for the game said that MDK really just meant the the characters initials and not Murder Death Kill like everyone speculated. Just thought i'd let ya'll know.

Bioware made MDK 2, not Shiny. They may have simply put an entirely different meaning to the letters.
