The slower cars are sometimes better on certain tracks where the faster cars would accelerate too fast and cause a crash in corners or like.

Well... then you just use the brake, no?

Btw., with some speed (but not too high) it's possible to drive on the ceiling of a pipe, without going in circles around it and without falling down. Aerodynamic down(up)force? Possible...

Unfortunately the faster cars speed up so quickly that using a brake is often not enough and you're still too fast, and then you crash into a wall on corners or similar. But if you drive with them too slowly the opponent racer will just drive past you and win. With slow cars you can speed up all you want (and need) and as they're still not that fast you brake down more efficiently. Of course, one should also choose same slow or only slightly faster car for the opponent or he would win simply.

In videogames yes, everything is possible... in the real world, not a chance... the car would need "wings" like a plane to generate enough pull up force and also the speed of a plane as the pull up force is also connected with the velocity of the fluid flow.

Oh, and I'm also one of these people that never uses the brakes in car driving games (gosh, maybe that's why I'm so lousy at them )

If you drive fast enough, the downforce from the spoiler (then working upwards since you're upside-down) would be enough to cling you to the surface. Of course this speed would be very high, so practically the only way is to "go in circles".

Press forward to accelerate and your race begins / the short intro is skipped.

OK, a few things:
- The brake is important. While you're driving out in the open, it's not needed, but when you're in an up/down corkscrew or on a bridge, now is the time.
- Remember to open STUNT.COM, and just press ENTER when you get the manual thingy requester. (This SHOULD be on ALL the pages of this thread.) Oh, and if you're running this under Windows 2000, turn the sound off, or leave it on PC speaker. Win2K doesn't support sound cards under DOS.
- For jumping bridges, you will need lots of speed.
- This game brings back many memories. We used to have this. Ahh...

(can't edit it sorry)
If you run STUNTS.COM, try doing some random guesswork. Make sure you fill up all you can. Once you've got it right, you're free to go. "DISPLAYING" was the word that got it working for me. It just depends on the question, but if you're clever, you can crack it. Oh, and you only have to do it once.

Disable security system in Stunts :
I strongly suggest to use 1.1 version available at download page of ZakStunts website ( http://stunts.mine.nu/zakstunts/index.php?...d&menu=full ) instead of 1.0 version.
And then run stunts_k.exe which is cracked executable (simply press enter when question is asked).

Or you can use the following answers to the questions of the game if you prefer using the original executable :

This game (as well as Ironman super offroad) runs choppy as hell.

If I alt tab out, then return to the game, it runs smooth for a few seconds, then continues being choppy.

Should I download DOSbox to fix the problem?
