Hey guys - is there any easier way for me to get a copy of this thread without having to edit each post and copy the characters out?

I just looked back and there's a lot that aren't anywhere else in my webspace.
I'm a bit worried that something bad could happen (Fiver, you mixamatosis infected rabbit paranoid!!!) and I would HATE to have to do all the meticulous formatting again...

Anyone know?

Have you guys heard of JAVE? It's like a paint program but for ASCII! (of course, that gets rid of some of the skill ><)

The AB Text Adventure game I am writing... Can I use that as one of the pictures?!
I plan to do in "beauty" Ascii (Like http://i651.photobucket.com/albums/u...ed/Caesar2.png and the others in that album - I really like the System Shock one and the Purple Tentacle one, but White on Black works best, not coloured... :hmm and also regular text Ascii - like your comic here - for some events / descriptions that are short and sweet.

That's another goal - you have to persuade King Leonidis of Sparta to refuse the Bablyonians (or whoever it was at Thermopole) their tribute of "Earth and Water"...
He can send you on a quest to prove that you are telling the truth that he will ensure that Sparta's sacrifice will be worth it by...

Ah - I'm not telling the answer to that one.

Nice cartoon, for sure - very inspirational!

This is exactly how I started out and, once I started using other characters and figuring out how they all fit together (and the bastard formatting, but Batman may have that one solved!) and where and for what reason...
You can pick it up really quickly, Simoneer - keep at it china!

Can you find a link to a free download, Batman?

The places (like freedosgames.com) where you have to sign up and participate in shit never let you download as they're never in sync with each other.
Or very rarely...

Cheers mate - I don't mind a bit o' cheatin' in this foine estaablishment!
It is every privateer's duty to cheat every once in a while...

And stampede the women and rape the horses; sack the town and raze it to the ground; make a raft of your dead crewmates and a shark and then sail it home.
(That's from the comic Watchmen - a sub /metaphor-story called Tales of the Black Freighter. You can watch it online or buy on DVD. It takes some digging to find it - about 5 minutes - but it is a good story!)

I think I will put that in my game, too...
