What is so to explain!!
How about those 9~14 KB/sec I'm getting with the GDI-disk.

So the question IS: Which has the Better cinematics GDI or NOD?

the answer is: its like you finished only 1/2 of the game. on one disc there is campagin for gdi and on second disc campagin for nod. and dont worry, the speed gets better after you download for a while, it went 14KB/s for me too and after half a hour it went up to 100 (i would advice you to use a download manager sine it sometimes crashes)

Then what would be the best FREE download manager that also supports resuming.

Cause I can't what a Consecutive 15 hours for a Download. (any download for that matter)
Even IF the speed gets up after a while to 100KB/sec it wouldn't be enough.

[edit]one good thing. They're Both downloading now @ 13KB/sec (in firefox Download manager)[/edit]

So, speeds have somewhat improved. (in FDM 2.5 )

23KB/sec for GDI and 40KB/sec for NOD. :w00t:

But the MOST importand, I can PAUSE the downloads and resume them at a later moment when it's posseble to download again.

GTX2GvO, I use Flashget with Flashgot (plugin for Firefox). I can't advise you much on setting it up because I'm using really old versions of both.

I heard about C&C Gold elsewhere, I'm downloading it myself. Dialup though.

Well, I have what I got now and unless it would have a major improvement over other download managers, I don't think I'm interested in more of that stuff.

Also, I'm around halfway through with both the GDI and NOD disks.
So switching Managers would be idiotic for me.

Exactly! FlashGet gets them all! (Except some problems with files bigger than two GB...)
