I agree with you on the "rushed ending" - but think about it, the original story consists seven novels longer than an average Harry Potter novel, and they had to fit it into about 650 MB worth of data consisting not only the story but also the audiovisual stuff as well.
By the way, I recommend Shannara as the next Legend game you should play, or maybe Eric the Unready, if you haven't played them before. Callahan's Crosstime Saloon has a perfect atmosphere, but it's insanely hard (if you're not familiar with mid 90s rhode island puns), and not really replayable.

Have fun

Gee, I can't even cast it - haven't got those last 2 runes.
Funny thing, 'cause I got the robe and had the vision, down back
at that cave.
Thanks for the screenshot, anyway,
guess i'll just have to see the ending scene on youtube.

I'm stuck at the part where you are in the treasure room and have so many turns before you suffer a horrible, searing death.

I have the game saved just before this.

Any help or tips?

Thanks!

Unhappy new and confused

Okay y'all, I'm lost. I've gotten dosbox and can get one other game to run on it, but not save. I can't even figure out how to get Death Gate to start. I'd really like to play it (and others) but I'm way too confused here.

(By the way, read the books if you haven't. I checked them out from the library as a kid, all seven at once. I got a $10 fine for turning them in late!)
