Anyways, AFAIK, Seb is the one who made it public again, both with editing his old posts, making huge posts about the issue, and then about his posting restriction (using the Santa Clause account)... I think people would start asking more questions if topics and posts kept getting removed.

Other than needing to explain the sudden disappearance of previously public threads, I'd agree with you. Private issues should remain private. I just think the problem here is that Seb apparently feels it's a community issue (and he's stated many times that he refuses to deal with it privately, IIRC). But yeah, I think it shouldn't be so public, a brief explanation of actions taken is more than enough.

Come on, Seb has done some great things for this site while he was still around; let's not sour the relationship now. Sure, Seb left because he didn't like the way the site is going, but there's no reason why a hostile relationship need exist between the site and him.

This goes for you too Seb, as I know you'll read this. Please don't reply to anything, you might feel the need to defend from what peopel are saying but by returning and posting when you claim you've left (and especially when you're banned) really doesn't look good.

I would really hate for the relationship between Seb and this forum to end with a ban.

We had enough bloodshed and good people leaving, and I know I don't have the privilige to say this, but this forum deserves better than narrow-sighted people arguing over nothing and make a huge fuss about it. I'm practicly not here anymore so I don't really want to intervine into this little discussion, but I cant stay aside and see people flaming eachother to oblivion because of a little sh!tpiece of a problem that is, as matter of fact, a matter of perspective. Who gives a f*ck what people call a netizen of netiquette or whatever? It is just like real life etiquette, it's not written. You cannot possibly enforce something that is not a fact. And this freakin netikette thing is not. But go ahead, I won't stop you. But that is my sole opinion and not targeted at anybody. There is noone to blame here other than yourselves for this. I agree Seb was overreacting, BUT so does Tom and the others. Seb did what he felt like the good thing to do, and so does Tom and EoF and the others. Close this already fo Haven's sake! I don't like where this is going, banning people, taking titles, double identities, needless flaming... You guys are braking your own rules here, hello!!!

Well, this is certainly not the community I joined back then, and I don't like what become of it... As things stand right now, I believe everybody should sit down and think about what he is doing. Think about what is good for the community, not just taking revenge for something that was already closed...

This forum is starting to sounds like a season of home and away, and i dont like drama that much, so maybe seb you could either comeback, or leave and spare us the "oh my golly gosh these people are abusing my wish to return in a over-dramatized fashion, whatever shall i do" kinda attitude.
