I loved the old Mario games, and I was a Nintendo kid, but let's face facts. Sonic would pwn Mario's hat off. End of story.

Anyway in terms of Mario and Sonic, they're pretty even. Sonic was better than Mario as a 2D platform, but current Mario games are better than current Sonic games. |

i like the orgenial Sonic then this new ~look at me im a bad azz~ the look on his face has turned to more of a evil smerk for lack of a better word and he just dosent look as Sonic as he did.

I agree. Those who prefer the new, sociopathic Sonic are even more heretic than those who prefer Mario. I've searched the net for an animated GIF of the classic Sonic waving his finger like he used to but I haven't found it.
 PD I had a Sega Master System but I enjoyed Super Mario 2 at my uncle's, one of the best platformers ever.
