OK, so as the historian I'll be writing about what happend to the world:
(which is the orrect thense to use when writing something that might but won't hapen - and trying to say it did hapen - although you know it won't even if it may...)

It was late in 2041 and the 4th world war was in its final stage. All the bananas were eaten and all the salt from the desalting plants made all the farm land into a waste land. The poeple started drinking the last remains of the oceans, praying for some rain, but non would come - for there's not water to form the clouds. The heat is unbearable.
The leading members of the younger generation of abandonians - or Abandoned freaks as their fraction of the world wide "war games instead of war" movemant were called decided that the moment has come for them to leave the Earth.
Fortunate for them they had the knowhow and the ability to leave our planet. They sent the Teraformer from Supremacy a.k.a. Overlord to Mars a long time ago, and have put together the yellow crystal of Zak McCracken. But they really hoped, the war would come to an end, because according to Civ - the leaders should have retired 23 years ago.
Abandoning all hope (they are the abandoned freaks after all), they moved to Mars, only to find it populated with S.O.U.L.s (Stuff of Unending Lifes) from Afterlife tm - LucasArt. So they took all the Inca Tumis and flew to Jupiter, where the small error in calculating it's gravity led to the demise of the whole expedition.
Back on Earth people were rejoicing, because their heros - the original Abandoned Freaks led by Kosta were able to provide them with enough cool old dos games again (now that the new generation left) that they started playing the games instead of killing eachother.
The food shortage was overcome, once everybody realised they need the oceans back and started pissing at the same time.
So the world was saved once afaing thanks to:
