Ouch i suck at this, but still i have idea. Lets make a sort of ASCII map of europe. D: i konw its bad

But still i think it'd be a neat idea. I kind of went and added onto your thingy Saccade, and made a cheap outline of western europe...well France, Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark....so...yea your the good one, you can add all those minor cool details

I see - good idea Fubb.

People told me that using the code tags - [ code] and then putting [/ code] at the end means that formatting everything, getting it all lined up, is loads easier.

I've started using the extended wysiwyg editor as well. I found that in the profile options page.

Using the tags and the other post editor means that we don't have to stick all the .'s or whatever as spaces.
I've got a few globes that I've done, but not a map of Europe.

I'll see if I can find all the currency symbols (well, most of them are Euros, which is pretty boring - maybe use the old currencies..?) and a map and see what happens.


If you want, I can help you figure out how to use different letters, numbers and symbols for different things.

Like:

to make different shapes that would be really annoying and to make entirely from .... or * $ # , % etc...

I still haven't managed to make a good space invader, which is something I want to do.
That could be made from these symbols:

It's just arranging them in the right way. You can use , ' . and ` for corners, to make them look rounder and also for diagonal lines that you don't want to look like /.

I'll see if I can find a book or something if you're interested - there's probably some online somewhere... The website that I used to submit all my stuff to may have some links.

We've already got the UK, so that's cool.
And you've made a good start on the outline and the countries in Northern Europe.

Let me know and we can start making a massive map of Europe - if we make it big enough, we make the interiors out of the Usernames of people who live in those countries, perhaps?
