![]() I am glad you and your family are safe. The photo of the barrel is incredible!

![]() I have a friend in Anadarko. I hope he's safe.
Those tornadoes were scary. There was just a line of them, heading straight north into Kansas... |

![]() I don't believe Anadarko was hit that day. One went through Chickasha, which is 15-20 miles east of Anadarko, but I think that's as close as any of them got.
Our insurance company has decided to compensate us for the slab as well as the house, so we'll have it broken up and replaced. Rebuilding will take longer, of course, but at least we won't have to worry about damage to the plumbing beneath the slab. Yep, that's a metal drum. I'd like to know exactly how fast it was moving before it hit the fence. Unfortunately, someone has already removed it. (I was kinda hoping it would just stay there.)

![]() Hey, the Magician of Oz didn't stage the whole thing in Kansas for no reason... You should ask Fruit for good numbers, but they are hit by Tornadoes at least once a year minimum...
If I were living there I would definitely consider building my home underground too... Must cost a fortune though. |

![]() Especially wear-and-tear on minions, the cost of heating enough lava to keep the underground waterfall running, the man-eating shark captive breeding programme and of course childcare (for when you absolutely must take your beloved spouse out to dinner to get away from all the screaming of heroic super spies being tortured or eaten by aforementioned sharks. Of course, children use up nannies so quickly in such surroundings. They take after Mommy and Daddy so much at such a young age
I just realised that's a metal drum. Oh my goodness! |
