Oh... well! Thank you very much!
I'm glad you like the stuff.

I would post some other (newer) stuff if you like (in a few weeks ). We're working on a new game project (of course with a new 3d engine), but we'll release some pics for the press soon.

@wendymaree: Thanks! I didn't use any photo materials for those sketches... just my pencil. Oh yes... I'm sorry, but i'm from Germany (i went to Australia four months ago! Brisbane and the Gold Coast!).

@R Havell & JJXB: Thanks! I created those maps for our HL-Mods (non commercial... as most ppl have to start with ) "Public-Enemy The dark future" and "Brainbread". You can do a lot with this old 3d engine, but that's nothing compared to the possibilities of newer engines. I just posted those pics because of the "abandonware" and "oldschool"-theme.

That's just freaking incredible.

The drawings look familiar to me for some reason, especially the one with the "hook" building.

I'm totally jealous of your talent k:

How long have you been drawing?

Modding ey? I did my share of modding to, but for the unreal engine. The site is still online , but production ceased

Do you mean you don't draw regularly as in you only sketch once in a while, or as in you do those on the computer?

I don't draw regularly because I've never felt I was good enough to persue it, but you are definitely good enough.

@taikara: Thank you very much. "Good enough"... mmh.. interesting. Personally i think that art has nothing to do with being "good" at it (or not). I don't think that there's need for competition, although it's rather difficult when you're working in the game (design) industry. I think that your drawings are absolutly great (your last picture is awesome!). Why do you think that you are not "good enough"? That question doesn't exist. It's my philosophy that people should do (create) whatever they want (related to this topic )... and if you've a creative mind you should express your visions and imaginations. It isn't important if other people like the stuff or not. It's all subjective... only your idea and the expression itself count. People often like to compare things... i don't like that attitude, because in most cases it's not necessary. k:
Oh yes... and to answer your question. I often draw sketches of things i've to create for those video games. For example landscapes, building or characters.
