Buying something is some countries can cost more than ten times what they do here compared to what a person earns. Let's make an example. A western country merchandise will have the same price in the third world as they do *here* and considering what they earn it's no wonder illegal merchandise gets around like they do there.

It would be like buying a new game here in europe for €450 instead of maybe €45.

I don't think some of those countries even has copyright laws (Malaysia?)...

Keep your eyes fixed on Allegro.pl, then. I've seen it there a couple of times for much less money.

I've never seen people buying original software... You can buy ps2 games (dvd) for 5 or 6 dollars, and you can buy pc games for only 1 or 2 u$s.. But, original software costs 40 dollars, so, there's the difference.

Well, true like that, in some countries the prices are high compared to the average salary, but on the other side, paying for the game prevents you from getting into BIG trouble. Ie, when you are using warez then if authorities get the smell they will probably confiscate your hardware as whole. An they usually aint returning anything.
Consider how much cash you'll need to buy a new one.

Think price of the legal game vs price of new hardware. :tai:
