About those inkjet printable CDs you mentioned: you CAN stick them in a printer. Just not ANY printer. Some printers have a special slot where you place your CD and then it can print on CD itself. But you'll find those only on expensive models...

Really expensive models.
It's cheaper to get sticker paper. Cheaper yet to just write on em. |

Black marker (inerasable one) works fine for me. LOL
Other then that I own CD Stomper kit, which includes labels and tool to place label on cd.  k: |

Not been here for a while. Interesting stuff. Hey I kow about permant markers and all those pen labelling(it is obvious). What I want is labelling like an actual DVD you buy from the shops. Anyways I'm not going to sell these or anything like that just for personal use. Thanks for all the help

Many kinds of CD sticker paper exist, but if you want to do it right, save up for a CD labeling kit (like that CD Stomper or what
k: ). There is chance you stick the stickey wrong and there goes your CD. Believe me, a badly placed label can do horrors to your CD/DVD drive, don't try it k:

Yep, because when a cd's gets out of balance in the drive it's likely to smash up in very tiny pieces which get stuck everywhere in the drive (this has cost me a drive recently
 ) |

If I were you, I would wait untill the so called "lightscribe" technology becomes cheaper. Using it you can label the CDs/DVDs with the CD/DVD writer itself (as mentioned before). You can purchase a lightscribe-ready drive already, but finding suitable media for burning is another question. I don' know whether the upcoming blu-ray or HD-DVD drives will be available with lightscribe capability.
