Here's a little something that people discovered about A Clockwork Orange.

Nah, it wasn't the people who were committing violent acts, it was a sudden outburst of the juxtaposition bourgeise of the Neo-McCarythein Nazi Annihilists (NMNA) who burst into theatres everywhere gunning down thousands of innocent people and then destroying the rest of the theatre using their robotic Mecha-Hitler.

So the government covered up that fact with the supposition that the movie drove people to violence.

Film: Sherlock, Jr. - Buster Keaton was a bloody genius. That film had awesome stunts for its time. Alternatively
Sherlock Holmes und das Halsband des Todes - a German production starring Christopher Lee with a fake nose (yes, I'm serious). It's so outrageously bad it's brilliant.
Music: Bach, violin concerto in A-minor - I used to play that one and I still know passages by heart...
