But I think Portugal, overall, played better. They deserve the victory

Holland wasn't the one headbutting the opposing player which usually results in direct red card only not in this game. Referee should show much more red card from the starts instead of just yellow "warnings". if he had shown red cards as he was supposed to = immediatelly, players would calm down much faster.

Holland deserved to lose only because of lousy play. Van Basten managed to conflict one of his best players and the only good striker he had (roben is actually Midlfield - wing). after leving the coloured player at home he managed to exclude Ruud form the team as well. Van der Saar, Persie, Roben and Snaider are just not enough against such a good team as Portugal (which really played dirty as well).

Eh... Spain vs. France ->tough one. Zidane like before can play great or can make a bad foul and go off. it won't be the first time. Spain seems to have a good game. I am a bit dissapointed that these two teams came together at such an early stage of competition. No matter. i hope i will enjoy the match. it could be a thriller.
